Dexter + Chaney and HardHat Technologies have teamed with FMI to offer complimentary Seminar

ATLANTA, GA (January 6, 2010)
- FMI Corporation will offer a free seminar on “Improving Productivity Within Your Construction Business” on Wednesday, February 17th at the AGC Regional Office in Atlanta, GA. This all-day event is designed for construction executives and managers of subcontracting firms, specialty contractors, road-building contractors, and general contractors. Dexter + Chaney, providers of Spectrum® Construction Software, and HardHat Technologies, construction business solution consultants, have teamed with FMI to present the seminar free of charge.

The February 17th seminar will explore methods and techniques for increasing the productivity of a construction business, as observed and implemented by the experts at FMI. Participants will learn how to identify the controllable variables that impact productivity and gain a solid understanding of the economics behind productivity. The seminar will highlight the importance of a three-part planning process, effective job cost, and production feedback. Measurement of process, behavior, and results as a tool for improving productivity will also be explored and discussed. The seminar will end with an implementation workshop, where attendees will have the chance to apply their productivity skills in a hands-on setting.

Collaboration provides cost-savings and interoperability to AEC firms and building owners
